If you can’t remember your EFAST2 User ID and PIN to sign your Form 5500, you’ll need to recover them through Login.gov, which is now the only way to access these credentials.
Ubiquity cannot retrieve or reset your EFAST2 credentials—these are managed directly by the Department of Labor (DOL).
Who This Applies To
This guide is for plan administrator or sponsors who are responsible for electronically signing Form 5500 filings through the Department of Labor’s EFAST2 system.
What You Need To Do
Depending on whether you have registered before, follow the steps below:
If you have never registered to sign a Form 5500
- Go to the EFAST2 Registration page.
- Follow the on-screen steps (see EFAST2 FAQs if needed).
- Upon registration, you will receive a User ID and PIN.
If you already have EFAST2 login credentials
You will need to link them to your Login.gov account:
- If you already have both an EFAST2 account and a Login.gov account:
- Go to the EFAST2 sign-in page.
- Select Sign in with Login.gov.
- If you have an EFAST2 account but no Login.gov account:
- Create a Login.gov account.
- Return to the EFAST2 sign-in page.
- Select Sign in with Login.gov.
Important Details to Remember
- Your User ID begins with a capital “A” followed by seven digits (Example: A1234567).
- Your PIN is a 4-digit number (Example: 1234).
