When a participant submits a loan or distribution request, it will be sent to all members of the TPA Portal for review and approval. You’ll receive an email notification with a direct link to the review page for the request.

Outstanding requests that still require attention will also appear in the Alerts section of your TPA Dashboard.

What You’ll See on the Review Page

The loan and distribution review page provides:

  • The participant’s current account balance
  • The vested percentage in each contribution source

This information helps you confirm whether the participant is eligible to access the requested funds.

Maintaining Accurate Vesting Data

To ensure vesting records are correct in the recordkeeping system:

  • The employer should submit hours worked each pay period.
  • If hours are missing, they can be updated through the employer dashboard.

Accurate hours are necessary for correct vesting calculations.

Updating Vesting During Withdrawals Review

As the TPA, you have the ability to update a participant’s vesting directly within the loan or distribution review page.

Important:

  • Any changes you make to vesting percentages in this step will override the recordkeeping system’s vesting calculation.
  • Once overridden, vesting for this participant will require manual intervention by the TPA going forward.
